Tommy Emmanuel Donates Personal Guitars to Guitar Ministries

Tommy Emmanuel is without a doubt one of the very best guitarists to ever walk this planet. All of his peers agree with that and the late Chet Atkins felt this way as well. Once you see him play, you will understand why. His talent is beyond description. But, beyond that, he has a love for God, and is excited about the ministry that we have in giving guitars to missionaries and Christian workers all over the world. Tommy has donated some priceless guitars to our ministry, including the one-of-a-kind guitar that was built for him to play in the closing ceremonies for the 2000 Sydney Olympics. The guitar in the photo above is a wonderful, hand made Travis guitar. This is the guitar that he used to record one of his Grammy nominated songs. Tommy will be performing in Baton Rouge soon, so keep watching our site for dates.
